What happens to the residue of the Gentile empires at the Second Coming?

At the Second Coming, the residue of the Gentile empires is crushed and broken to pieces like iron, clay, brass, silver, and gold. It becomes like summer threshing-floor chaff, blown away by the wind and disappears. The returning Christ, the stone, then fills the earth and sets up His Kingdom.

Les explains that after Christ returns, He crushes the residue of all these Gentile empires, including the armies of the Antichrist at Armageddon, and totally destroys the planet. Every city will fall in a matter of hours. The iron, clay, brass, silver, and gold are broken to pieces together and become like the chaff of the summer threshing floor. Since chaff is light, the wind blows it away and it dissipates. The residue of those great Gentile empires is literally blown away with the Second Coming of Christ and disappears like chaff carried by the wind. Then the stone that smote the image—the returning Christ—becomes a great mountain and fills the whole earth, setting up His Kingdom. The 75 days will be used to cleanse the earth of all the residue and prepare for the Kingdom economy before the Jewish resurrected believers and Israel's Old Testament promises are fulfilled.

Daniel 2:35

Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.
