What will Christ do to the remains of the ancient empires at His Second Coming?

At His Second Coming, Christ will roll the remains of the ancient empires under the pictured stone and literally blow them all away. They will be driven off like the chaff of a threshing floor. This action pictures the complete removal of the world's great empires and all that remains of them.

Les explains that the remains of the ancient empires—such as Greek architecture and philosophy, and Roman courts, judges, law, and republican government—will suddenly be rolled under the pictured stone, which is Christ at His Second Coming. He will literally blow it all away. Les uses the harvest and threshing floor illustration: as grain is separated from chaff, wind blows the chaff away, just as a combine blows chaff out the rear while grain goes into the bin. In the same way, the nations and great empires and all that remains of them will blow away like the chaff of a threshing floor. Les also connects this to Daniel's closing verses, where Daniel is told to wait 75 days, a period he suggests will cleanse the planet of everything that has remained.
