How do we grow up into Christ in all things?

We grow up into Christ in all things by speaking the truth in love, gaining knowledge of the Word, and realizing our position in His body. Christ is the head, and the body receives its marching orders from Him as He speaks through the Word, not from denominational hierarchy.

Les explains from Ephesians 4 that believers who have grown in faith and stature in the body should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the cunning craftiness of men who lie in wait to deceive. He says there is more deception today than the world has ever seen, and we confront it with a knowledge of the Word and a realization of our position in the body. In verse 15, Paul writes that speaking the truth in love enables us to grow up into Him who is the head, Christ. Les illustrates this with the human body: the head is where everything originates, and the body's marching orders come from the head, not from a denominational hierarchy. Christ, the head, speaks through the Word.
