How does a person get out of Adam and into Christ?
A person gets out of Adam and into Christ by believing what Christ says about the cross. When Christ died on the cross, and a person believes that truth, every believer is then out of Adam and in Christ, and God sees only Christ's righteousness and holiness.
Les explains that when Christ died on the cross, and we believe what He says about the cross, every believer is out of Adam and in Christ. God no longer sees us in the cesspool of sin which we were in Adam; instead He sees only the righteousness and holiness of Christ because we are in Him. Les connects this to Colossians 3:1, where Paul writes that if we have been risen with Christ, we should seek things above, because we now have a whole new mental attitude. Christ is seated at the right hand of God, not on a throne tonight, but He will sit on His throne when He returns to set up His kingdom.
