Do most people today understand the position believers have in Christ?
No. Most people today do not comprehend the position believers have in Christ. Scripture teaches that every believer is baptized by the Holy Spirit into the Body of Christ and is already seated in the heavenlies, waiting to be taken up into union with Christ Himself.
Les explains that this is something Peter never got the whole story on, and most people today do not comprehend the position believers of the Gospel have in Christ. By one Spirit, every believer—not just the most spiritual—is baptized into the Body of Christ, whether Jew or Gentile, bond or free. Believers are already seated in the heavenlies and waiting to be taken up into union with Christ Himself. They remain members in particular, known by name, not by a number or group.
