Les Feldick Bible Study

Do most believers today understand the Christian liberty we have in the age of grace?

No. The average believer today still does not comprehend the liberty that we have in this age of grace. Many so-called Christians have no concept of it at all and no idea what liberty in the Gospel of Grace amounts to. They often remain entangled in a yoke of bondage instead.

Les explains that if Paul had been the progenitor of a religion and its grand guru, he could stand over them and hold a whip over them to make them adhere to everything he said, but that is not the case. Les teaches that the average believer today still does not comprehend the liberty we have in this age of grace. Even the Corinthians, carnal as they were with all their problems, were not where they were because Paul forced them there or stood over them with a heavy whip; they were still enjoying Christian liberty. Les says many so-called Christians today have no concept of that at all and no idea what liberty in the Gospel of Grace amounts to. Paul appeals in Galatians 5:1: 'Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.'
