Does God hear my prayers as just another sound among millions?

No. God does not hear your prayers as just another sound among millions. Every believer is an individual in God’s sight whom He knows; He knows every need, heartache, and joy. When you pray, it is as if you are the only one in the throne room.

Les explains that within the body of Christ, no believer is merely a number; each is an individual in God’s sight. God knows every need, every heartache, and every joy. Although Christians often think their prayers are just another sound to God, Les says that is not true. It is as if you are the only one in the throne room, and that is the kind of God we serve. This fits his emphasis that every believer deserves the same love and compassion, and that when one member suffers, all suffer with it.

1 Corinthians 12:27

Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

Does God see me as an individual or just as a number in the church?

Every believer is an individual in God's sight whom He knows, not merely a number in the church. God knows each person's every need, heartache, and joy, and each believer deserves the same love and compassion as the next, as members of Christ's body.
