How can God hear millions of believers praying at the same time?
He is not overwhelmed by such simultaneous volume, because He hears each believer as an individual, not as a confused mumble of voices. The Father searches hearts, the Spirit intercedes, and the Son advocates, so all three persons of the Trinity constantly work on believers’ behalf.
Les explains that this is one of the miracles of God: at any one moment, perhaps a million believers in all areas of the world are approaching the throne room, yet God hears everyone as an individual. He does not hear just a mumble jumble of voices coming before Him. The Son is an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous, there 24 hours a day, every day of the year. The Holy Spirit also intercedes on behalf of believers, and all three persons of the Trinity are involved in our prayer line, constantly working for us. Romans 8:27 shows that God searches the hearts—the area where He works—and knows the mind of the Spirit.
