What changed for Adam and Eve after they sinned and left the Garden?
After they sinned and left the Garden, sin and death had entered, and they were separated from their daily walk with God. They came under the curse and had to work by the sweat of their brow, no longer enjoying paradise and Eden's easy existence. Everything was different; God did not change, but Adam and Eve did.
Les teaches that while Adam and Eve were in the Garden, they were under a certain set of circumstances. Their only concern was not to eat of that tree; everything else was there for them to enjoy, nothing would be disobedient to them, and they knew nothing of sin. But they disobeyed and ate. When they came out of the Garden, everything could not remain the same. Sin had entered, and death had entered. They had been separated from that daily walk with God. Now they were under the curse and had to work by the sweat of their brow. They were no longer under the easy existence of paradise and Eden. Les emphasizes that God did not change; Adam and Eve did. This was a whole different set of circumstances.
