What did Paul not do right after Jesus revealed the gospel to him?

Immediately after Jesus revealed the gospel to him, Paul did not confer with flesh and blood, nor did he go up to Jerusalem to consult the twelve apostles. He had no contact with those men at Jerusalem; his gospel came by revelation from the ascended Lord, not from men.

Les explains that Paul’s revelation came directly from the ascended Lord in glory, not from the earthly ministry of Christ or from the twelve apostles. Paul writes that immediately he did not confer with flesh and blood, nor go up to Jerusalem, showing the Holy Spirit prompted him to state definitively he had no contact with those twelve men at Jerusalem. Later, in chapter 2, he did go up by revelation to communicate his gospel to the Gentiles.

Why didn't Paul go to Jerusalem to learn from Peter and the twelve after his conversion?

God deliberately distanced Paul from the twelve apostles in this new economy of grace; Paul could have nothing to do with them because they were steeped in Judaism and the Law.
