How did Paul receive the gospel?

Paul received the gospel by the revelation of Jesus Christ, not from any man. He did not go up to Jerusalem after his conversion to be taught by those who had been with Jesus. As Galatians 1:11-12 states, the gospel he preached was not after man.

Les teaches that Paul's account in Galatians chapter 1, verses 11-12, certifies the gospel he preached is not after man. Paul did not receive it from man, nor was he taught it. He did not go back to Jerusalem after his conversion and ask those who had been with Jesus for three years to teach him everything about Jesus. Instead, Paul received it by the revelation of Jesus Christ. Les highlights the difference between revelation and instruction. He contrasts this with Apollos, who was expounded the way of God more perfectly by Aquila and Priscilla, who had been with Paul.

Galatians 1:11

But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
