Where does bread come from?

Bread comes from wheat. A loaf is made from many individual kernels of wheat that are ground into flour and then made into bread. Thus one loaf is a composite of numerous kernels, illustrating how many believers become one body.

Les explains that bread comes from wheat, specifically from individual kernels of grain. He notes that a bin full of wheat or grain is comprised of individual kernels, and when those kernels are ground into flour and made into bread, the loaf becomes a composite of many kernels. He applies this analogy to the body of Christ: just as many kernels make one loaf, believers are many members yet one bread, the fellowship of the body of Christ.
