What does a true believer look like in everyday life?
A true believer appears as a common, ordinary person: a good parent, good citizen, and good church member who operates according to God's precepts. Such a believer is not kooky or oddball but the epitome of normality outwardly, while having the mind of the Lord and a lifestyle the world can recognize.
Les teaches that becoming a believer does not make someone an oddball in left field with a silly halo, wings, or anything like that. The true believer is just the common, ordinary, good parent, the good citizen, the good church member. He is the person who is operating according to God's precepts, and that does not mean he is kooky or some kind of oddball. Outwardly, believers are the epitome of normality, yet their lifestyle is such that the world can recognize them everywhere they go, at least sooner or later. This contrasts with the unsaved world, because believers have the mind of the Lord and think differently; their whole attitude and mindset are totally different from the unsaved world.
