What happens when God's love is imparted to a believer?
When God's love is imparted to a believer, that same kind of love becomes the believer's attitude toward people around them, including enemies. It works no ill to a neighbor, refuses vengeance, lets God take care of wrongs, and fulfills the law, as love did at the cross.
Les teaches that when that love has been imparted to you and I as believers, it becomes sensible: the same love that put Christ on the cross and caused God to pour out mercy is then our attitude toward the people around us, and even our enemies if we have such. If love is operating, as much as lieth in us, we are not going to avenge; we let God take care of that. Love works no ill to a neighbor and is the fulfilling of the law, whose epitome was expressed at the cross.
