Who was Jesus Christ before He came in the flesh?

Jesus Christ was the Creator God before He came in the flesh. He was the Creator of Genesis 1, the One who spoke and the universe came into being, and the One who spoke and Adam came up out of the dust of the ground.

Les teaches that this is something he cannot comprehend except through the eyes of faith: the Creator God Himself became the likeness of sinful flesh. Jesus Christ was the Creator of Genesis 1, the One who spoke and the universe came into being, and the One who spoke and Adam came up out of the dust of the ground. His whole purpose in coming was to get right down at man's level, in man's frame of flesh, that He might condemn sin and the flesh, dealing with the old Adam.

Where does Jesus Christ really come on the scene in the Bible?

Scripture presents Christ as eternal, not beginning at Bethlehem. He was from eternity past to eternity future. He truly comes on the scene in Genesis chapter 1, in creation, because God the Son called everything into being and was manifested throughout the Old Testament, then became flesh visibly in the New Testament.
