Who was Jesus of Nazareth before He was born in Bethlehem?

Before Bethlehem, Jesus of Nazareth was the Creator God of Genesis 1, the eternal and invisible God manifested in flesh. He was not a person who began at His birth; He was the God of glory, the image of the invisible God, fully God before taking on human form.

Les explains that many people are confused and think Christ never amounted to anything until He was born at Bethlehem. But Jesus of Nazareth was merely the manifestation in the flesh of the Creator God of Genesis 1. When teaching Genesis, Les shows that Christ as we know Him in the New Testament was the Creator of the Old. Jesus is the fleshly manifestation and the image of that invisible, eternal God. Because He was the God of glory, He could pay the sin debt of every human being from Adam until the end of time.

Genesis 1:1
