What would happen if every American read Romans weekly for six months?
If every American from age 12 up read the book of Romans once a week for six months, you would see things happen in America. Reading Romans chapter 8 once a day might even speed up the results. This is presented as a hypothetical that would never actually happen.
Les explains that Romans is the greatest book of Scripture, a masterpiece Martin Luther called it, a multi-carat diamond gemstone. He contrasts the alarm of politicians and religious leaders, who propose programs, money, prisons, or a third party, with the simple remedy of reading Romans. He says hypothetically that if every American from age 12 up, regardless of denominational or religious handle, read Romans once a week for six months, you would see things happen in America. Reading chapter 8 once a day might speed it up, because it is apropos and practical, not pie in the sky.
