Why can no one condemn us according to Romans 8:32?

No one can condemn us because God did not spare His Son but gave Him up to be crucified, mishandled, and misused. Since God is for us and has justified, glorified, and forgiven us, no accuser can bring any condemnation against God's elect.

Les explains that Romans 8:32 gives the reason no one can condemn the believer: God did not spare His Son but let Him be crucified, mishandled, and misused by the powers then in vogue, and He gave Him up. As Philippians shows, the Lord Jesus Himself was obedient unto that kind of death. This is pictured in Abraham laying Isaac on the altar; Isaac did not struggle or fight back but in complete obedience let Abraham lay him upon the altar. Because God has already called, elected, justified, and glorified believers in His eyes, and because God is for us, no one can successfully condemn us.

Romans 8:32

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
