What is the reason God gives in Romans 8:32 for not condemning us?

The reason is that God did not spare His Son but gave Him up, letting Him be crucified and mishandled by the powers then in vogue. Because God has already given His Son for us, no one can condemn us; God is for us.

Les teaches that Romans 8:31–32 is paramount to the Christian experience. Those who are called, elected, justified, and glorified in God's eyes can rest in the conclusion: if God is for us, who can be against us? No one can condemn us. Verse 32 gives the reason: God did not spare His Son but let Him be crucified, mishandled, and misused by the powers then in vogue, and He gave Him up. As Philippians shows, the Lord Jesus was obedient unto that kind of death. Les compares this to Isaac of old, who did not struggle or fight back but in complete obedience let Abraham lay him upon the altar.
