Who is the believer's advocate with the Father?

Scripture identifies Jesus Christ the Righteous as the believer’s advocate with the Father. He intercedes on behalf of believers, serving as their advocate and intercessor before the Father, available continually. This advocacy reflects the Son’s ongoing work alongside the Holy Spirit’s intercession for believers.

Les explains that when any man sins, the believer has an advocate, an intercessor, someone interceding with the Father. In I John chapter 2 verse 1, that advocate with the Father is Jesus Christ the Righteous. Les notes He is there 24 hours a day, every day of the year. He also points to Romans chapter 8, where the Holy Spirit is interceding on behalf of believers, and all three persons of the Trinity are involved in the believer’s prayer line, constantly working for us. So Paul can write, if God be for us, who can be against us?
