What does God expect us to do with the doctrines He has revealed?
God expects believers to get into the doctrines He has revealed in Scripture, to hang on to them, to believe them, and to trust in them. These revealed truths are what the Christian community needs today, giving believers a real reason for living as Christians.
Les teaches that we have to get into the doctrines of what God has revealed, and what He has revealed Scripture says. He explains that God expects us to hang on to it, to believe it, and to trust in it. This teaching is not normally taught, but it is what the Christian community needs today. Paul always writes to the believer, not to the unbelieving world, so these things are written to give believers a real reason for living as believers or Christians. The name Christian has been mangled and degenerated, but it truly means a Bible-believing, born-again work of the Spirit of God; not everybody who claims to be a Christian is one.
