What does God expect from us regarding His Word?
God expects us to believe what He has said and not argue with it. We are to take His Word by faith, especially truths we cannot fully comprehend, such as the Trinity, trusting that Scripture is true even when our understanding is limited.
Les explains that while we cannot fully understand mysteries like the Trinity—how God is One yet three persons—we accept them by faith. He says, 'We take it by faith, because that's what this Book says, and this is what God is looking for is our faith. He expects us to believe what He has said, and we're not to argue with it.' This applies to all of Scripture: God's expectation is trust in His Word, not argument.
