What does the Holy Spirit baptize believers into?
The Holy Spirit baptizes every believer into the Body of Christ. This is not a local church or denomination but an invisible act of God, accomplished the moment one believes. It cannot be seen or felt, yet Scripture says it happened, and believers accept it by faith.
Les teaches that when Scripture says “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into,” the next word is “all,” and Paul is writing only to believers, not lost people. The baptism is not into a local church or denomination but into the body—the Body of Christ. It is an act of God, invisible, something we cannot put our hands on. Like the other things God did the moment we believed, we know it happened by faith because the book says so. At the moment every child of God believed, the Holy Spirit baptized them into that body of Christ.
