What should a Christian do when someone starts asking questions about the faith?
When a person begins asking questions about the faith, a Christian should be prepared with Scripture, ready to explain what the Bible teaches. Rather than forcing the issue, one should respond to the interest the Lord creates, using God's Word to bring them to a knowledge of what the book says.
Les teaches that it is not part of the Christian endeavor to corner people or force the things of God down their throats. You do not grab someone and demand they listen. Instead, as the Lord creates interest and they begin to ask questions, the believer should have 'both barrels loaded' and be ready with all the Scripture at their command, able to bring them to a knowledge of what the book is trying to say. This fits the matter of choice: God does not force anyone, but His grace can overwhelm old Adam and rule supreme.
