Les Feldick Bible Study

Did Christ ever commit a sin, even in His thoughts?

No. Christ was sinless, never committing a single sin, not even in His thought processes. He knew no sin, yet God made Him to be sin for us, so that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. He was God and remained without sin.

Les explains that Christ was God and was sinless, never committing a single sin, not even in the thought processes. Because He knew no sin, God made Him to be sin for us, so that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. That sinless righteousness has been imputed to the believer's account. God now looks on believers and does not see them by name, but sees Christ, because everything Christ was and is has been placed on them by faith. Les adds that salvation does not rest on what we do or what we think we can become, but on faith—believing and appropriating it. The result is a testimony and concern for lost people.
