Who are the children of Abraham according to Galatians 3:7?

Galatians 3:7 declares that those who are of faith are the children of Abraham. They are not made Jews physically, but they have a spiritual connection to Abraham, sharing the faith way by which Abraham believed God and was accounted righteous.

Les explains that Galatians 3:6 says Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Then verse 7 calls those who are of the faith way the children of Abraham. Les clarifies this does not mean believers become Jews; rather, they have a spiritual connection to Abraham, unlike any other historical figure except the Lord Jesus. Verse 8 adds that Scripture foresaw God would justify the heathen by faith and preached the Gospel beforehand.

Galatians 3:7

Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
