How is Satan trying to disrupt God's total program?

Satan attempts to disrupt God's total program by eliminating the nation of Israel and the Jewish people. Since prophetic events center on Israel, he works to remove the Jew from the scene, and mixed marriages are cited as one sinister means threatening that nation's distinct existence.

Les explains that everything prophetically going to happen to this planet is centered in the little nation of Israel. Therefore, Satan is still trying to disrupt God's total program by getting rid of the nation of Israel, getting rid of the Jew. Les points to one of the most sinister things happening: 52% of all Jewish marriages are now mixed marriages, marrying Gentiles. He says that if Scripture had not guaranteed this nation will never fade off the scene, he would have to wonder. He connects this to Matthew 24 and the parable of the fig tree, where Jesus says when the branch is yet tender and puts forth leaves, you know summer is nigh—a prophetic picture that when you see all these things, Christ's return is near, even at the door. He adds that "this generation" does not mean a generation in time like 40, 50, or 60 years.
