What is Satan trying to do to God's eternal purposes?
Satan is doing everything in his power to thwart the eternal purposes of God. He works overtime because he hates God and Israel, and he is behind everything happening to the little nation of Israel, attempting to disrupt God’s plans.
Les explains that Satan is working overtime, not just because he hates Israel, but because he hates God. He is doing everything in his power to thwart the eternal purposes of God. Satan is behind everything that is happening to the little nation of Israel, including scandals that upset their political system. Yet God is not going to permit anything to remove Israel from the scene; they are going to survive. God told Jeremiah that the sun would have to leave its orbit and the moon would have to fall out of its orbit before Israel would disappear from view.
