What would happen if Satan disrupted God's plan for the nation of Israel?

If Satan could disrupt God's plan for the nation of Israel, he would thereby disrupt God's full plan of salvation. If Israel were destroyed or disappeared from view, prophecy would be left hanging on a string, the book would be a lie, and God's prophetic word could not be fulfilled.

Les explains that Satan has tried to thwart God's plan of redemption by destroying the people through whom the Redeemer must come. If Satan could disrupt God's plan for Israel, he would disrupt God's full plan of salvation, so Israel has been under constant attack. Though Satan did not stop Israel from producing the Messiah, he now aims to disrupt God's prophetic program. If Israel disappeared from view, prophecy would be left hanging on a string, the book would be a lie, and God's prophetic word could not be fulfilled. That is why Les points to hostility like Hitler's and the nations' accusations, while noting Israel's government and people are not perfect but are sons of Adam like everyone else.
