What did Les read that a famous musician said about being inspired by Satan?
A news magazine reported that John Lennon said he was inspired by Satan. The transcript notes that he repeated the claim in an interview shortly before he was assassinated. This was cited as an example of spiritual and moral decline after idolatry replaces the true God.
Les explains that he read in a news magazine that a man said he was inspired by Satan. The transcript links this man to John Lennon, who repeated the claim in an interview shortly before he was assassinated. Les uses this as an illustration of spiritual and moral decay, connecting it to Great Britain's decline from eminence to spiritual deadness and to the pattern since the Tower of Babel. He also reads verse 24, where God gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts.
