Does Satan only work through vile and evil-looking things in Les's teaching?
No. Satan does not limit himself to vile, evil-looking things. He can promote the greatest technology and the most beautiful things on earth, as long as they serve his own ends. A Satanic world system may appear outwardly good, yet be inwardly corrupt to the core.
Les explains that Satan is not merely the promoter of Skid Row or the vile aspect of life. Satan can also promote the greatest technology and the most beautiful things on earth, as long as it is for his own end. Therefore, when the great world system is called Satanic, that does not mean it is intrinsically evil in its outward appearances. Its inward part, however, is corrupt to the core. It is a Satanic consortium of politicians, not something that must look ugly or degraded.
