Les Feldick Bible Study

Why did Les say he lives in constant fear of satanic attack?

The reason given was that the more a believer tries to do what pleases the Lord, the more Satan attacks. The teaching was penetrating places Satan did not want it to go, and only the prayers of the saints were protecting him.

Les teaches that this is a fact of life believers cannot avoid: when he would do good, evil is present, and all experience that. The more you try to do what is pleasing to the Lord, the more Satan attacks. He explains that their teaching was starting to penetrate places Satan did not want it to go, so he lived in constant fear of satanic attack in one way or another. The only protection he knew was the prayers of the saints. He pleaded with his television audience and class people to pray, noting that believers must constantly pray for one another because they are up against an adversary who dislikes what they are doing. He also saw Satan attacking people who had been influential in getting the program going, though so far God had protected them. He covers it to prayers, and Paul was up against the same opposition whenever he attempted something glorious for God.
