What is the behavior of people today when it comes to deception and the Bible?

Les teaches that Jesus began His answer about the signs of His coming and the end of the age with the word deception: “Beware, be not deceived.” Les warns that the world is set up for the biggest deception ever to hit the human race, and people are falling for anything and everything while refusing to get into the Book and search for the truth. He says Satan is the master deceiver and is doing a tremendous job, even in the church. Satan is infiltrating the church with everything but what it needs, and people are being given something less than the truth. Les also laments that too many read too many books instead of the Book, and those books neglect this part of the Gospel and focus on coping with problems or getting along with family. Getting into the Book, he says, lets those problems take care of themselves. He calls believers to warn people and let them know what the truth is.
