How are false teachers deceiving people today?
False teachers deceive by overwhelming people from every direction with their own opinions about what they think the Word says. Many are brainwashed without realizing that much of this teaching does not come from the Book. Balaam serves as the perfect example of such false teachers.
Les explains that Balaam is the perfect picture and example of false teachers. He points out that if ever there has been a day to be aware of false teaching, it is today, because we are literally being overwhelmed by it from every direction. People are out spouting off about what they think the Word says, and too many are simply being brainwashed without realizing that a lot of this stuff does not come from the book. That is why he stops to study Balaam in Numbers chapter 22.
