What does Scripture say about the things God has prepared for those who love Him?
Scripture says that things are awaiting believers that cannot even be imagined: eye has not seen, ear has not heard the things God has prepared for them that love Him. These prepared things are for everyone who believes, and the best is yet to come after this brief life.
Les explains that God’s divine fingers have come into the believer’s life, making us a new creature and new creation in Christ to bring glory to Him. The world ridicules this, but it has only about seventy years on average—that is its heaven. Believers, however, have ages upon ages ahead. Even the most beautiful estate on earth is like a smelly pig pen by comparison. Scripture says things await us that we cannot imagine: “Eye hath not seen, ear hath not heard the things that God has prepared for them that love Him.” So Les says he doesn’t need much in this life, because all the best is yet to come—not just for him, but for you and everyone that believes.
