Who created all things, including Satan and every spiritual power?
God the Son created all things—in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible—including thrones, dominions, principalities, Satan himself, and every power ever exercised. Scripture teaches that all things were created by Him and for Him, for His purposes.
Les explains from the Colossians text that the Son, the visible image of the invisible God, is the Creator. By the Son were all things created in heaven and earth, visible and invisible, thrones, dominions, principalities. Even Satan himself is a created being, created by God the Son, and every power ever exercised was created by God the Son. Not only did He create them, they were created for Him and for His purposes. Les also notes that by Him all things consist, meaning held together, and God the Son controls every particle with the power of His Word.
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
