What will God do for the Jews who flee from Jerusalem at the midpoint of the Tribulation?
God will protect and provide for the Jews who flee from the environs of Jerusalem at the midpoint of the Tribulation. This flight parallels the escape out of Egypt, and just as God protected and provided for the Jews in the wilderness, He will protect and provide for these escaping Jews.
Les explains that this is an analogy to the escape out of Egypt, much of it a parallel. Just as God protected and provided for the Jews in the wilderness, He will protect and provide for these escaping Jews coming out of the environs of Jerusalem at the midpoint of the Tribulation. This group is not the 144,000, but a cross section of any society—men, women, young women, and children—fleeing Jerusalem. Time will be urgent: those on the housetop must not come down to take anything from their house, and those in the field must not return to take their clothes.
