Why did God make all the provisions for our temptation?
God made all provisions for temptation because Christ experienced every category of temptation that befalls humanity. Since He endured every category, God can faithfully limit temptation and provide a way of escape so believers may bear it. Therefore failure is not God's fault; His provision rests on Christ's experience of every category of temptation.
Les teaches that Satan is going to hit us, and the old Adam is going to come up at us. But God is faithful: He will not permit believers to be tempted above what they are able, and with the temptation He will also make a way to escape so they may be able to bear it. That is a promise. So there is no need to fail or stumble, even though we do. Yet it is not God's fault. God has made all the provisions, but it was based on the fact that Christ experienced every category of temptation that befalls you and me.
