Les Feldick Bible Study

Why did Les skip the Gospels, Acts, and Paul's letters in his teaching?

The skip occurred because the study had jumped from Daniel into Revelation, and after finishing Revelation, continuing that sequence meant bypassing the Gospels, Acts, and Paul’s letters. The teaching method also avoids covering every book and verse, instead tracing the Bible’s unfolding theme and highlighting key points without isolating single verses.

Les explains that he had jumped out of Daniel and began the study in Revelation, so after finishing Revelation, he naturally had to skip over the Gospels, the Book of Acts, and all of Paul’s letters. Even when he teaches through the Scriptures in continuity, he does not take every book and every verse. Instead, he tries to take the theme from beginning to end as it unfolds and keep it simple, because making it too complicated can keep people from getting anything out of it. He aims to hit the highlights without just picking out singular verses, which he says the cults do. He also notes that he teaches in different classes through the week—John, Acts, Exodus, and Genesis—and likes to keep those classes and their content separated so he does not get confused by teaching the same lesson on consecutive nights.
