Why does Les like to teach about Paul's Church Epistles and the Bible's timeline?

Les explains that instead of looking at the timeline of all Scripture, he wants to look at a timeline of sorts covering Paul’s Church Epistles. He teaches that there are 7 of Paul’s Epistles written to the Church, called the Church Epistles, and that seven is God’s perfect number. Paul did not try to divide his letters to produce seven; he wrote as appropriate, and it fell out that seven were written for the Church. Les likes to teach these things to show how intrinsically and beautifully all the Bible puts together, that everything fits from Genesis to Revelation, and that it is so programmed no human could have dreamed it up. He also notes that many times within Paul’s letters, they pointed out particular things when teaching Romans.
