Will we need sleep in eternity?
Scripture indicates there will be no night in eternity, so evidently we will not have to sleep or need rest. Instead, it will be constant activity, with the Lord God giving light and believers reigning with Him forever face to face.
Les explains that Revelation's description of no night means we won't need sleep or rest; eternity will be constant activity. He notes that some may find that tiring to think about, but the Word teaches it. He also connects it to seeing Christ face to face, each individual known personally by God, and believers reigning with Him over the new planet forever.
And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
