What will the New Earth's geographical structure be like?
The New Earth will have much the same geographical structure as the present one, with Jerusalem as its center and the abode of the great new city. A pure river of water of life will flow from the throne of God and the Lamb, and the Tree of Life will stand on either side, bearing twelve kinds of fruit.
Les explains that the New Earth's geographical structure will be much the same as this present Earth. He suggests Jerusalem will again be pretty much the center of that New Earth, and that Jerusalem will be the abode of the tremendous new city. Out of that same area will come the river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. On either side of the river is the Tree of Life, which will bear twelve manner or kinds of fruit. Les notes that the Tree of Life was last mentioned in Genesis and that it will reappear in the eternal state.
