Is Christ's glorious body the body He had before the cross or after the resurrection?

Christ's glorious body is His post-resurrection body, not the pre-cross body of humiliation. Philippians 3:20–21 promises believers' vile bodies will be fashioned like His glorious body. He was glorified at resurrection, after death, burial, and resurrection, attaining again the glory He had.

Les explains that Philippians 3:20–21 is written to believers whose citizenship is in heaven; they are already in the kingdom and look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. He will change this vile body—the one prone to sickness, death, and corruption—so it is fashioned like His glorious body. Les stresses this is not the body of humiliation before the cross, because Christ was glorified at resurrection. After His death, burial, and resurrection, He attained again the glory He had, as also seen in John 17's high priestly prayer. So the pattern is His post-resurrection body. Les also directs us to Luke 24 and says the 40 days of Christ's post-resurrection life show, as much as Scripture reveals, how we will operate in our new resurrected body, since we will be like Him.

Philippians 3:21

Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
