What kind of body is Christ's resurrected body?
Christ's resurrected body is a spiritual body, not flesh and blood subject to corruption. It is not placed back in the tomb. The old physical, corrupt body is buried, but the resurrection body comes forth in resurrection power as a new body fashioned after Christ's body.
Les explains that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God, and corruption does not inherit incorruption. He notes that you do not put a spiritual body such as Christ's resurrected body back in the tomb. What goes into the grave is the old physical body, already corrupt and prone to disease and failures. But when it comes out in resurrection power, it will be a new body fashioned after Christ's body. The teaching then turns to Ephesians chapter 1 and Paul's prayer for believers.
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Why did Jesus' resurrected body have no blood?
Jesus’ resurrected body was flesh and bone without blood because flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God or enter eternity. Even the Lord Himself could not go into eternity with blood; His blood was shed, and His resurrected body is devoid of blood, fitting the future body fashioned after His glorious body.
Does Christ's resurrected body go back in the tomb?
No. Christ's resurrected body is a spiritual body and is not placed back in the tomb. What is buried is the old physical body of corruption, prone to disease and failure. Flesh and blood cannot inherit God's kingdom, and corruption does not inherit incorruption. Resurrection produces a new body fashioned after Christ's body.
