What was Jesus' resurrection body like?
Jesus' resurrection body was a physical body, flesh and bone. He walked, talked, and ate with disciples, and they felt and saw His wounds. After 40 days of resurrection experience, He was taken up, a cloud received Him, and He will return in like manner.
Les explains that Jesus' resurrection body was not merely a spirit but a physical body, described as flesh and bone. During the 40 days of resurrection experience, the disciples walked with Him, talked with Him, ate with Him, and felt and saw His wounds. In Acts chapter 1, on the Mount of Olives with the eleven, that period came to an end. As they beheld, He was taken up and a cloud received Him out of their sight. Two men in white apparel said that this same Jesus, the physical, spiritual Jesus taken up into heaven, shall come in like manner as they saw Him go. Les adds, in a lighter vein, that He went head first and is coming back feet first.
