What kind of body did Jesus have after His resurrection?

After His resurrection, Jesus had a physical body of flesh and bone, not flesh and blood. His blood had been shed, and His resurrected body was devoid of blood, because flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s Kingdom or enter eternity. Believers’ future bodies will be fashioned after His glorious body.

Les explains that in His resurrection appearance Jesus said, “handle me, look at me, you see me physically in flesh and bone.” He left out the blood. Since flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God, and corruption cannot inherit incorruption, even the Lord Himself could not go into eternity with blood. His blood was shed, so His resurrected body is devoid of blood; it is flesh and bone. Les connects this to what Philippians said: when believers are brought into the eternal state, they will have a body fashioned after His glorious body—flesh and bone, not flesh and blood. Les also raises the question of the source of life in that eternal body, since Genesis tells us life is in the blood, and points to 1 Corinthians 15:45 about Adam becoming a living soul.

Luke 24:39

Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

1 Corinthians 15:50

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
