What will Christ do to believers' bodies according to Philippians 3:21?

According to Philippians 3:21, the Lord Jesus Christ will change the believer's vile body—the one prone to sickness, death, and corruption—and fashion it like unto His glorious, post-resurrection body. This change is according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue.

Les explains that Paul always writes to the believer, and in Philippians 3:20–21 the believer’s citizenship is in heaven, from whence we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Christ will change our vile body—this body prone to sickness, death, and corruption—so it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body. Les stresses that this is not the body of humiliation before the cross, but His post-resurrection body, the glory He attained after His death, burial, and resurrection, as mentioned in John 17. The change is according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue. Les teaches that we will be like that body, and he recommends studying the 40 days of Christ’s post-resurrection life in Luke 24 to understand how we will operate in our new resurrected body.

Philippians 3:21

Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
