What will the false prophet do to make people worship the Antichrist?
The false prophet will work miracles in the presence of the Antichrist, using supernatural signs to cause people to worship him. Functioning as an unholy counterpart to the Holy Spirit, he directs worship to the Antichrist just as the Holy Spirit leads believers to worship Christ.
Les explains that the false prophet is the leader of the world's religions during the seven years. He wrought miracles before the Antichrist, and his role is to cause people to worship the Antichrist. Les calls this an unholy trinity: Satan is synonymous with God the Father, the false prophet is synonymous with the Holy Spirit, and the Antichrist is synonymous with Christ. Just as the Holy Spirit leads believers to worship Christ, the false prophet leads people to worship the Antichrist.
