What will the false prophet tell the people of the earth to make?
The false prophet will tell those dwelling on the earth to make an image of the Antichrist, the beast who had the wound by the sword and did live. This image is to centralize worship, just as Nebuchadnezzar built a great image, and the false prophet will cause the world to worship the Antichrist through it.
Les teaches that this false prophet is a false Holy Spirit and false religious leader who will cause the people of the earth to worship the Antichrist, who is a counterfeit of the Son. He will command them to make an image to the beast, or of the Antichrist, who had the wound by the sword and did live. Just as Nebuchadnezzar centralized worship by building a great image, the Antichrist and false prophet will consort to amalgamate all the world's religions by making them worship one great image. Les notes the image will be given life, which is not beyond present technology, citing Japanese work on living cell computers.
