Will God's patience and grace ever end?
God's patience and grace will not continue forever. One day His patience will end, His grace will end, and His wrath will fall. The exact timing is unknown, but this end is guaranteed. Though the day is not revealed, His patience and grace will ultimately cease.
Les explains that in the context of Revelation 16–17, during the final bowl judgments and the battle of Armageddon, the great commercial cities of the world—Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, and others—will fall in a moment of time. Babylon, representing the whole consortium of these commercial cities, comes in remembrance before God to receive the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. In light of such judgment, believers wonder how long God will continue to be patient. Les assures that while we do not know how long, one day God's patience will end, His grace will end, and His wrath will fall. He then directs attention back to Revelation 18 to wind up the discussion.
